Our History

Founded in 1976, Fournitures électriques Besco Limitée has established itself as a leading player in the distribution of electrical products.

In 2015, the acquisition of the company by Sylvie Percy marked a decisive turning point, ushering in a new era under the name Besco, a specialist in electrical solutions.

In 2023, the creation of a design and project management department, supported by seasoned engineers, accelerated our growth and strengthened our leadership position.

Joey McGuirk
– A Leader Who Combines Expertise and Innovation

Joey McGuirk, is a passionate Sales Director who focuses equally on technical expertise and strategy to drive the company forward. A graduate in mechanical engineering from Polytechnique Montreal, with additional training in electrical engineering, he has a deep understanding of industrial challenges and customer needs.

 

Before taking the helm of sales, Joey gained valuable hands-on experience as a panel wireman. This practical approach allows him today to offer tailored solutions and guide his clients with precision and efficiency.

 

Recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and natural leadership, he plays a key role in the company’s growth and continuity, having been identified as a potential successor. Always seeking innovation and improvement, he is actively involved in the EntreChefs PME community, where he connects with other entrepreneurs who share his vision of development and leadership.
